Will you be a sponsor for the 2023 Celebrating Forces Families Awards?

Following a successful inaugural Celebrating Forces Families (CFF) Awards event earlier this year, we are going again in London on Friday 28th April 2023 and now looking for sponsors. If you would like to help, or you know of an organisation who might be interested in being part of our next event, we would love to hear from you!

There are several packages with different values available through the sponsorship brochure on the CFF website. Interested in what you see? Simply complete the online sponsor form in the first instance and a member of the team will be in touch with you.

The event

This event will be the only event in the UK military calendar focused on serving families in the UK Armed Forces, wherever they are based in the world. The awards will also recognise those who support military families, including offering exemplar employment opportunities.

The Ministry of Defence supports the event through its Partner Employment Steering Group, which includes the event team. The Awards evening will be a non-profit event with any remaining funds being divided across tri-Service family-related military charities.

Growing our inclusivity

This year we have added a new ‘Away from Home’ award to specifically acknowledge those based overseas who have gone above and beyond to help their military community.

Chief of Defence People (CDP), Lieutenant General James Swift OBE attended the 2022 awards and sent in his reflections of the evening:

“The night gave me the opportunity to meet and hear from families who have triumphed over adversity and undertaken some amazing projects. I was touched to hear the story of nine-year-old Isobel Keating (pictured) who provides care for her mother. The evening highlighted the importance of the community that has been built around the families of serving personnel and served as a reminder of the importance of our work on the UK Armed Forces Families Strategy.”
