Lee Johnston
Lee works for The Forces Employment Charity who provide life-long, life-changing support, job opportunities and training to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their families, regardless of circumstances, rank, length of service, or reason for leaving.
She joined Forces Employment Charity 5 years ago at the start of the Families Programme as the first Advisor on the Programme and she’s continued to watch it go from strength to strength. She sees first hand how the support they as a team provide, doesn't just empower Partners but helps them to achieve their employment goals.
Outside of work Lee is a massive football fan!
Her favourite teams are Liverpool and Plymouth Argyle, so if she’s not working (which is a lot of the time) you’ll find her watching them or at football training with her son.
She’s a mother to 3 beautiful children who have taken military life in their stride.
Another very cool fact about Lee is that she was very lucky to sing In the Bleak Midwinter, for the Queen's speech in 2012 with the Military Wives Choir at Buckingham Palace!

She is also the Naval Families Federation representative for Forces Families Jobs, working with others to empower and highlight service spouses and family members in the career of their choice. Outside of work Vicky is a mum of two young whirlwinds and wife to a serving Submariner and can often be found with her head in a murder mystery book to unwind at the end of the day.
