Celebrating Service Children at the CFF Awards 2023

The Celebrating Forces Families (CFF) Awards are delighted to have the Voices of Armed Forces Children Choir singing at this year’s Awards Evening in London this April 2023.

The Voices of Armed Forces Children Choir was formed by charity Never Such Innocence in June 2021 with tri-Service children from across Britain.  You might remember seeing the choir perform on Britain’s Got Talent, raising the profile of Service Children everywhere.

The choir will be singing a series of original songs to introduce the Awards that will be presented by two celebrity guests; one being actor and SSAFA Ambassador, Antony Cotton who returns to the Awards having been our guest presenter at the inaugural event last year.

Never Such Innocence COO, Katie Salari says:

“The choir is an incredible group of young people - their songs give a voice to such an important part of the Armed Forces family, the children. We are SO proud of each and every one of them for what they have accomplished.”

Celebrating Forces Families Awards have the Voices of Armed Forces Children Choir sing this year.

The Naval Families Federation and RAF Families Federation (RAFFF) are sponsoring the Choir at the awards. RAFFF Director, Maria Lyle says:

“We are delighted to be a Celebrating Forces Families sponsor. Clearly, military families are at the heart at what we do, and we are privileged to work with so many.

“Because of the nature of our work, we often hear about the challenges encountered by military family members.  However, the joy of an event like this is a celebration of the range of creative and tenacious military family members out there – who are successful in many fields whilst supporting someone who serves our country. It is great to be involved in a reminder of what a positive community we live in.”

The Awards evening

Friday 28th April 2023 will see a formal dinner and awards ceremony held at the Victory Services Club, London. The Awards are supported by the Ministry of Defence through its Partner Employment Working Group.

Actor and SSAFA Ambassador, Antony Cotton is also returning as a guest presenter at the Awards.
